The inquest into the death of an officer who was killed in a Croydon police station will begin later

Sergeant Matt Ratana died after a handcuffed gunman opened fire in a custody suite last Friday.

The 23-year-old suspect also shot himself, and is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
