With Halloween fast approaching, a cat charity is trying to change the perception about black cats being unlucky.

The Morden branch of Cats Protection is urging people across SW London and Surrey to consider adopting one.  

Nearly 65,000 black and black and white cats have been re-homed in the last decade. 

National Black Cat Day takes place annually on October the 27th.
