A man from Norwich held by detectives investigating the shooting of a police officer in Croydon has been released with no further action

Sgt Matiu Ratana died in hospital after being shot on September the 25^th at Croydon Custody Centre.

The main suspect, Louis De Zoysa, remains "unfit for interviewing" in hospital after apparently also shooting himself.

The 23-year-old had been arrested for possession of ammunition and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply.
