Richmond Council’s leader is criticising the Government for the amount of money it’s allocating to support the critically vulnerable

Authorities will be given £14.60 per head to help residents advised to stay at home during the second lockdown.

In Richmond, there are over 6,900 residents on the list, including 257 children and young people.

Councils are being asked to offer support such as home help or extra food. Gareth Roberts says the money is “nothing short of peanuts.”
