The MP for Carshalton and Wallington is calling for more volunteers to help the British Heart Foundation, following a £50 million funding shortfall.

The revenue was lost when they temporarily closed all 750 shops during the last lockdown, including the one on Wallington High Street.

Elliott Colbourn says it’s vital the charity continues its research into heart disease.

Many of its shops have reopened, but some, like the one in New Malden, have had to close permanently.
