A new festival celebrating Japan’s botanical treasures is coming to Kew Gardens this year

Cherry blossom and Bonsai, which are probably the country’s most celebrated flora, will be on display.

The festival, in October, will be housed in the historic Temperate House.

Kew says it wants to focus on the importance of the natural world and the concepts of harmony and beauty seen in Japanese horticulture.
