We’re being told to “sit tight, stay at home and stay safe” until we’re contacted for our coronavirus vaccination.

Cabinet Member for Health at Hounslow Council, Candice Atterton, says “nobody can be vaccinated if they have the virus”.

All care homes in the borough are due to receive their jabs by the end of the month, starting this week.

Councillor Atterton says it “provides the first sight of the pathway out”.
