More than 1,800 arrests have been made in London during a five week crackdown on violence.

Each week had a different focus, including robbery hotspot areas and searching for high-harm offenders.

The West Area BCU, which covers Hounslow, Ealing and Hillingdon,  says 77 arrests have been made there.

98 items including drugs, knives and other offensive weapons were also confiscated by that force.
