Young care leavers in Sutton are saying it was “really special” to have Christmas dinner and presents given to them over the festive period.

The Christmas Day Dinner is in its third year, although this time a team of volunteers had to make deliveries to the young people.

This included the meal and gifts, but also hampers with treats and essential items.

Care leaver Katie says “it was the best!” and “it meant a lot to me”.
