The entire ground floor and part of the first floor of a house in Thornton Heath has been destroyed by fire.

Crews were called Sunday evening to Headcorn Place.

A woman left the property before the brigade arrived and was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

The cause is under investigation by both the fire service and the police.
