A deer has had to be put down after being attacked by a dog in Richmond Park.

It took place yesterday afternoon at around 7pm near to the Leg of Mutton Pond.

The dog was described as a Belgian and German Shepherd cross, around 25kg, with a short sandy coat and a black harness.

The owner is asked to contact Royal Parks Police.
