“Caught on Camera” is back in Battersea and Tooting.

The initiative, set up by Wandsworth Council, aims to catch out people dumping rubbish illegally on the borough’s streets.

The authority releases the film of the flytippers in the hope they’ll be identified and can then be prosecuted.

Data published by Defra shows that Wandsworth issued 955 fines for flytipping offences last year.

The figures also revealed that Wandsworth has the second lowest number of recorded flytips in inner London.
