Tens of thousands of homes across Hounslow have received a free £20 voucher to encourage them to shop in the borough’s high streets

Over 300 local businesses have signed up to take part in the initiative from Hounslow council, which is intended to stimulate the conomy. 

Before the pandemic Hounslow’s economy was the second fastest-growing in London. 

But last year in contracted by more than 11 percent, largely because of reduced flights and lay-offs at Heathrow Airport, the area’s biggest employer.
