A man has been charged with a string of offences, after a man was seen shouting in the street and carrying a knife in Ewell

28-year-old Jacob Garber, from the town, is accused of threats to kill, possession of an offensive weapon, and affray.

The police helicopter, armed police, and the dog unit also attended the scene at Chessington Road on Tuesday.

The force says there’s no risk to the public.
