It’s been revealed that Kew Gardens lost around 5-million pounds last year as lockdown and international travel restrictions hit the tourist trade

Visitor numbers are not expected to return to pre-pandemic levels until around 2025.

The Botanic Gardens are home to 50-thousand living plants and around 7-million preserved plant specimens.
