Kingston Council is to re-home 32 Afghan individuals who supported the British Embassy and the Government during the war.

The first family has already been relocated to the borough.

Save the World Club will furnish homes for new arrivals and Learn English at Home will supply targeted language support.

Kingston only reached its 2015 pledge to resettle 50 Syrian refugees last December after 6 years of trying.
