The female, who had relocated from Richmond Park, was around 20 years old.
Known by walkers as Mrs Ritchie, she was given emergency treatment after the incident at Queensmere Pond on January the 23rd.
Witnesses are being asked to contact the Ranger’s Office and walkers are being reminded to keep their dogs on leads around the pond.
