The men knocked on the victims door in Oyster Lane at 1pm claiming to be collecting scrap metal, asking to take a radiator in the front garden.
The victim agreed, and while one suspect distracted them, the other stole £500 from inside the house.
They’re described as being in their early 20s, one has short dark hair, and the other short, with a stocky build.
