Fire crews were called on Saturday to Binns Road, where one dog ran out uninjured, but another was trapped inside.
The brigade says “there were a lot of possessions and clutter inside the house” and that “hoarding means exit routes can become blocked”.
There were no reports of any human injuries, and the animals were looked over by the RSPCA.
