A hide and seek with a difference is taking place across Epsom and Ewell to raise awareness of the plight of the hedgehog.

50 hedgehog sculptures have been placed around the borough to be discovered with the help of an interactive map. 

50% of the prickly creatures have been lost in rural areas since the turn of the millennium.

The hide and seek is taking place this weekend and the maps can be downloaded via wildlifetrusts.org
