It’s hoped a rundown area of sunken fencing in Kew will be turned into a green space and pathway for pollinators.

The Ha-Ha near the Old Deer Park Sports ground is currently prone to fly-tipping.

Volunteers from the Thames Landscape Strategy are partnering with Habitats and Heritage to hopefully create a “unique area.”

The path will be cleared, a natural retaining wall added, the existing wet woodlands expanded, and a reed bed added to capture carbon.
