Calls are continuing to use the homes of sanctioned Russians to house Ukrainian refugees.

That includes the £500m property portfolio of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, and that of tycoon Oleg Deripaska, who owns an eight-bedroom mansion in Weybridge.

Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove has suggested the idea, but his opponents have called it legally not feasible.

Meanwhile, the scheme to welcome Ukrainian refugees into UK homes opens today, with people able to register their interest now.
