Spelthorne MP, Kwasi Kwarteng, wanted to see for himself the work being done by Rentstart.
The charity runs a rent deposit scheme which helps people on low incomes access private rented accommodation.
This provides landlords with a guarantee-bond instead of a traditional cash deposit, which protects them against rent arrears or damage.
