Pupils at Ibstock Place have vowed to take part in the nationwide ‘Read for Refugees Sunflower Challenge.’
They’re being encouraged to get sponsorship for each book they complete.
They can mark their progress by colouring in a petal per book on a downloadable sunflower.
The challenge takes its name from the national flower of Ukraine.
