14 people remain in custody at a West London police station
following arrests during a protest at an oil terminal in Staines.
Officers were called yesterday after several protesters
blocked the entrance to the terminal on Bedfont Road.
Some suspended themselves on Bamboo tripods, others were
locked to oil drums.
It’s understood those arrested could face charges of
aggravated trespass and criminal damage.
Altogether ten oil terminals around the UK were targeted by
climate change protesters.
