That’s according to charity, the RSPCA which has teamed up with Animal Search UK to help reunite missing animals and their owners.
The organisations will cross reference information on strays coming in to their centres and people reporting their pets as lost.

10,000 pets were reported missing across the UK last year with owners being
urged to make sure their animals are micro-chipped.
