8-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer has said an emotional goodbye to tennis as he played his final match before retiring.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion lost his doubles match alongside Rafa Nadal at the Laver Cup late last night.

There were tears at the end from his old rival, Federer’s family, and the man himself.

Team Europe and Team World are level at 2-all after the first day.
