People in Spelthorne are being asked their opinions on new plans to crack down on street drinking.

The council is considering a public space protection order, which would allow police to confiscate alcohol and tell people not to loiter.

Another condition under consideration is not allowing people to urinate or defecate in a public space within the designated area.

Anyone breaching the order could face a fine of up to £1,000, or an on the spot fine of up to £100.
