Police say “enquiries are progressing” after Brentford’s Ivan Toney was subjected to “racist abuse” on social media again

The club says he was sent a direct message on Friday night, and that “an attack on one of our players is an attack on all of us”. 

Before the match against Brighton on Friday, players took the knee as part of the No Room For Racism campaign.
