Sir Mark Rowley, the new Metropolitan Police Commissioner, says hundreds of his officers should be sacked for racist and misogynistic behaviour

A review of misconduct cases found police were getting away with breaking the law, and it was taking the Met around 400 days on average to fully investigate complaints.

Sir Mark says “We need to radically overhaul how our organisation is set up, and instil our values in everything we do”.
