The government is being accused of “betraying” renters, as they reportedly plan to cancel their pledge to end no-fault evictions

The Times reports that the plan, which was a manifesto commitment, could be scrapped as they’re “not considered a priority”.

The new levelling up secretary, Simon Clarke, is reportedly recommending ideas which include allowing fewer affordable homes.
