Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is to look at supplying menstrual “dignity” packs at the community events it hosts.

The decision comes as Guildford Fire station lights up in support of Walton based charity, Binti.

The charity aims to promote period dignity and supply free products to those in need.

Surrey County Council also became the first authority in the UK to start providing free menstrual products at certain locations.
