The head of Surrey Police says a commitment for officers to attend “all at home burglaries” is nothing new in the county

The pledge has been signed by all 43 chief constables in England and Wales. 

But Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend says it’s a pledge that her team has been working on for some time. 

She says the extra officers pledged by the Government are helping to make a real difference.
