8 months after a fatal gas explosion 27 families from Thornton heath still haven’t been able to return to their homes

The admission came at a public meeting on Wednesday where Merton Council said some families were still displaced.

The blast claimed the life of four-year-old Sahara Salman and caused hundreds of residents to be evacuated from their homes.
