People have previously been faced with more than five numbers if they need to talk about matters including waste and housing.
The multiple numbers, which are being phased out, will be re-routed so they all go via a main 0208 one instead which is 020 8547 5000.
The order of the menu has also been tweaked with benefits coming first and council tax last.
