Police were called at 11:20 on Saturday night to reports that a gun had been discharged in Clarendon Grove.
Officers were later informed that a male victim had been taken to hospital with gunshot injuries to his back.
It’s thought the victim was approached by a man, who discharged a firearm into the vehicle he was sitting in.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
