An investigation's found Birmingham airport was the worst in the UK for flight delays for a second year in a row

The PA news agency discovered departures from the West Midlands airport were half an hour behind schedule on average last year. 

Meanwhile, Heathrow came in ninth with 22 minutes, but Gatwick placed fifth with 27. 

East Midlands has the shortest delays.
