Commuters are being warned that tube strikes next week will coincide with engineering work on the District line.

Drivers will be walking out over a move by TfL that the RMT Union claims threatens the work-life balance and puts jobs at risk.

TfL says no driver has lost their job or been forced to take duties they don’t want to.

There’ll be a walkout for 24 hours from next Tuesday at midday, then another next Thursday.
