The UK's offering Kenya - which has a population of 52-million - almost 820-thousand coronavirus jabs.

9 million doses of the Oxford Astrazeneca will be shipped out as part of a global effort to tackle the pandemic.

There have been concerns supply shortages in some African countries inhibited the continuing rollout of their vaccination programmes.

The foreign secretary and MP for Esher and Walton, Dominic Raab, says shipments will start on Friday.
