An operation took place on Saturday focused on disrupting county lines drug dealing and gang activity in Croydon, Sutton and Bromley.

It involved more than 150 officers and resulted in 26 vehicle seizures, eight arrests and the recovery of £30,000 worth of stolen goods.

County lines often exploit the young and vulnerable, so specially trained officers were on hand to assist those in need of safeguarding.

Chief Superintendent Dave Stringer said, “The Met is committed to tackling violence. We will continue to target and arrest criminals”.
