Kingston is the latest borough to be hit by recycling collection problems

A national HGV driver shortage and staff absence has led to waste contractor Veolia having to put an “improvement plan” in place.  

Kingston Council says it is working with Veolia to make sure disruption for residents is limited.

 People in Wandsworth and Sutton have also experienced delays with recycling collection over the last few weeks.
