The firefighters have undertaken a modular initial training course over a period of 4 months which included fire ground training.
They also learnt how to use a hose, fire service ladders, breathing apparatus, road traffic collision equipment and much more.
On-call firefighters are members of the community who live or work nearby and respond to emergency calls as and when required.
