Thames Ditton’s Dylan Fletcher has won his first Olympic medal in today’s men’s sailing 49er at Tokyo 2020.

Fletcher alongside teammate Stuart Bithell took gold earlier, crossing the finish line just two centimetres ahead of Germany.

The pair had originally been rivals before deciding to team up to qualify for Tokyo.
