The Met Police are preparing a policing plan to tackle two weeks of demonstrations in London by Environmental Campaigners.

Extinction Rebellion are to take to the streets between the 22nd August to the 5th September with a focus on the city of London.

Policing Extinction Rebellion protests has cost the taxpayer 50 million pounds since 2019.

The Met says that covers three prolonged demonstrations by the group in London.
