Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel says his players kept their cool after beating Aston Villa in a penalty shoot-out to reach the fourth round of the League Cup.

Reece James scored the winning spot-kick, after the game had finished 1-all.

It maintained Chelsea's unbeaten start to the season.

Tuchel says both sides were going for it.
