Police and emergency services were called at approximately 7am on Friday to reports of a car colliding with a wall.
It is believed that driver lost control, overturned but no reports of any other cars involved.
The driver a 29-year-old man was taken to St Georges Hospital in a life-threatening condition, but he was later pronounced dead.
Police are investigating.
