13 MPs have written to the new Health Secretary demanding a halt to the reconfiguration of maternity services in South London.

Under the current plans, services like maternity, are due to be moved out of St Helier and Epsom hospitals.

They’ll be relocated at a new emergency care hospital in Belmont, with work due to start next year. 

Mitcham and Morden’s MP, Siobhain McDonagh, is the lead signatory on the letter.
