Brentford Bridge has “never looked better” after businesses and the community came together to renovate it.

The London Wildlife Trust cleared away invasive plant species and dead species, while volunteers from JCDecaux helped clear away litter.

Pupils from the nearby Green School adorned the structure with their artwork, which reflects the history of the area and its wildlife.

Gordon Scorer, from the Wildlife Trust, says helping the reedbed to recover will mean it can provide an “important refuge” for birds.
