Oaks and Beddington Parks in Sutton have been named as some of the best in London.

The judges at London in Bloom say the diverse meadows and well-maintained rose gardens are “truly exceptional”.

They also recognised the “tireless” work of the Friends Groups and Tree Wardens.

Councillor Manuel Abellan says “we must give huge thanks to all our volunteers, who bring the heart into our parks’ communities”.
