The home secretary says she hopes an independent inquiry into the murder of Sarah Everard in Clapham will ensure something like it never happens again.

Priti Patel is setting it up to look into the killing in March by a serving police officer.

One part of the inquiry will be about the murderer, Wayne Couzens, and his career in the Metropolitan force.
